There are very few competitors with Hawaii for warm vacations. Hawaii in the summer, Utah's Park City in the winter. The top ski resort in the county, according to Ski Magazine resides in Utah--Deer Valley. I have not made it yet to Hawaii but definitely plan to get over there to enjoy the sun and check out the real estate.
